Description of the product
Programming
The iMax B6 is equipped with an AUTO function that controls the charging and discharging speed. With lithium batteries, this can prevent a short circuit caused by charging too quickly, which can cause the battery to explode. In the event of an emergency, it will automatically break the circuit and the built-in speaker will sound an alarm. All charger modes are controlled by two-way communication between the battery to ensure maximum safety. All settings are user configurable. iMax B6 monitors the voltage of individual cells. For balanced charging, it is not necessary to connect an external balancer.
Balancing individual cells during discharge
During the discharge process, the eXtreme 605 monitors and balances each battery cell individually. In case of an error, a message will appear on the display and the charger will stop working immediately.
Fast mode and lithium battery storage
There are various methods of charging lithium batteries. The fast mode reduces the charging time, and the charger's memory can control the final voltage of the battery. This method significantly increases battery life.
Multiple battery types supported and maximum safety
They are adapted to different types of lithium batteries, such as LiPo, Li-ion and new generation LiFe . Delta-Peak mode is a program that automatically stops charging when it detects a sudden change in voltage. When the battery voltage exceeds the permissible limit, the charging process is automatically terminated. When charging NiCd or NiMH batteries, an upper limit of the charging current can be set. This is useful for NiMH batteries with low resistance and power in auto-charge mode. Chemical reactions in the battery can cause its temperature to rise significantly during charging. If the temperature reaches a high level (a level set by the user), the charging process is terminated. This function is available by connecting a temperature probe (not included).
The charger can store data from ten different batteries. The user can set the charge/discharge parameters for each battery and charge them each time to charge the battery without additional programming.
